Donors & Volunteers
Flowery School was treated to a wonderful surprise when two exceptional young men from 
Sonoma Valley High School showed up to volunteer. Flowery’s after-school “Seekers” program runs two classes 4 days a week, 3 sessions a day. Read Naturally or Math Steps is held in the computer lab and Vocabulary Connections in a regular classroom. These student volunteers really contributed to the success of the program.
Miguel
Garcia is a senior at Sonoma Valley High School. His senior project mentor, Sandra Lee Jones, is one of our after-school class teachers, and the rest is history. Although only with us a short time, Miguel hopped right in and made a difference from his first day! Miguel hopes to continue his education at Sonoma State.
Tom Connors came to us way back in October! He faithfully supported both after-school classes
through February for 8 hours a week! Tom’s technology skills and his natural ease with the elementary students made him an invaluable part of our after-school team. Tom is a junior in the SVHS’ culinary arts program.
Flowery School and the Seekers appreciate Miguel and Tom. Thank you both for your time!
